147 meters above sea level – 125 meters above Julsø you stand on top of Himmelbjerget, with a view over the lakes and forests of Søhøjlandet.

In Norse mythology, Himmelbjerget is the highest mountain in the world of the gods, Asgard. However, it is actually surpassed by several Danish peaks, such as Ejer Bjerge with Ejer Bavnehøj, Møllehøj and Yding Skovhøj, which are almost 25 meters higher than Himmelbjerget.

It is possible to drive, cycle, hike or sail to Himmelbjerget.
